NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR · VOLUNTARY

A seat at the table as we build our board

Thank you for your interest in joining the Health Design Collective CIC as a Non-Executive Director. As we move from an informal to a formal board, we are looking for people with different capabilities to guide our strategy and support our next steps.

ABOUT THE HDC

The Health Design Collective started in 2018, formed as a spin-out social enterprise from Queen Margaret University. Since starting, we have focused on the development of one key product: footwear for people with foot-drop.

Up until this point, the four directors have operated as an informal board, sharing roles and responsibilities as we progressed the different requirements of developing a product. We are now at the point of requiring a formal board to enable us to develop our strategy and provide guidance on operations that are becoming necessary.
